Tickets can be purchased at online at Eventbrite. Attendees are encouraged to purchase in advance. 


 All sales are final. No refunds will be issued. All bands are subject to change.


Yes. For anyone purchasing alcoholic beverages, please have a valid ID readily available.


 ATMs will be available on site. Most vendors will also accept credit cards. 


 This event is rain or shine. No refunds will be issued.


Plan ahead to help keep the lines moving! 

All individuals will need a ticket to enter and to pass through a metal detector to enter La Semana Alegre at Hemisfair. 


Entrances will be located at S. Alamo and Market St. and on Nueva St. (across from the '68 inside Hemisfair).



La Semana Alegre is an all-ages event. Kids 12 and under are free to enter with a ticketed adult. 


  • Clear Bag Policy: Clear plastic bags up to 12" x 6" x 12" are permitted. Exceptions: small clutch purses and fanny packs that are 6" x 9" or smaller. 
  • Non-clear Bag Policy: All non-clear bags must be smaller than 6" x 9".
  • Exceptions: Diaper bags and medical bags are permitted. 
  • Inspection: All bags and purses are subject to inspection.


GETTING HERE

We highly encourage using the VIA Park & Ride Service. 

Rideshare Drop-offs and pick-ups will be from the Martinez Lot located on Cesar Chavez and S. Alamo. 


  There are several city-owned parking lots and garages near Hemisfair.


The entrance will be located at 210 S. Alamo St. at the corner of Market St. and S. Alamo. Please reference the map on our homepage.


what to bring and not bring

All bags are subject to security search. 

No bags larger than 6" x 9" will be allowed in the festival unless they are clear. 

Clear bags up to 12” x 12” x 6” in size are permitted. 


  • NO drones 
  • NO Professional recording devices/video cameras 
  • NO Laser pointers 
  • NO Weapons of any kind 
  • NO coolers/ice chests 
  • NO outside alcohol or beverages (1) One empty or completely sealed water bottle (no broken seal) is allowed in the festival. 
  • NO drugs


No. There will be plenty of space to sit in Hemisfair and vendors to purchase food and drinks from. You are welcome to bring blankets.


Service animals are welcome. Pets will not be admitted into the ticketed area of the festival.

 Hemisfair is designed to accommodate all ages and abilities. Hemisfair's public restrooms are ADA-compliant and wheelchair accessible. Yanaguana Garden has an easily accessed drop-off points on the south end (between the Hemisfair Garage and CommonWealth Coffee.


Attendees may leave and re-enter the festival but will have to go through security each time they enter and will only be re-admitted if the event has capacity.
